Leonard Lugo, or Leo as he is often known, has had a commendable career in law enforcement spanning more than 20 years. He is a former Platoon Supervisor with the Westfield Police Department in New Jersey and has had many roles in his career including Commander of the Detective Bureau and Coordinator of Counterterrorism. Lugo earned his Bachelors Degree from William Paterson University and has training from both the FBI and Department of Homeland Security. In addition to his full time responsibilities with the Police Department, Leo is a talented artist and has been very active in the Town of Westfield NJ creating and promoting his art. He is a dedicated member of the police community as well as the artistic community and clearly values both a pursuit in public service as well as in creativity.
